About Sukriti
Currently based in Sydney, Australia, Sukriti Wahi is a passionate journalist, copywriter and content editor. Specialising in premium to luxury fashion and lifestyle, she has over seven years of experience crafting digital and social media content for rapidly growing ecommerce start-ups and established global media outlets alike.
As a journalist, her work has featured in both Australian and international editions of Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, marie claire and Refinery29. Previously the Lifestyle Editor (digital) for ELLE and marie claire Australia, she led editorial content spanning fashion, culture, wellness and travel, covering everything from the best speakeasies in Japan, to the rise of CBD skincare, and the Internet’s problematic perceptions of Meghan Markle (pre- and post-Oprah interview).
A seasoned reporter, Sukriti has interviewed an array of celebrities including Halima Aden, Lucas Bravo, Regé-Jean Page, Eiza González, Zooey Deutch, Robyn Lawley and Bella Heathcote, as well as some of the world’s most prolific creatives and experts in fashion, beauty and health.
Outside ‘magland’, she has worked across copy, content and communications both in-house and freelance for some of Australia’s most celebrated brands, such as sass & bide, Stylerunner—for which she developed and directed the award-winning retailer’s online magazine: Triple White—and MAISON de SABRÉ, where she oversaw copy for brand collaborations and partnerships with the likes of Disney and David Jones.
In 2016, Sukriti earned her Master of Fashion Brand Management at the internationally renowned Polimoda Institute in Florence, Italy, presenting her thesis on luxury rebranding at Pitti Immagine Uomo, the world’s leading trade fair for men’s fashion and accessories.
